There really is no alternative to this route from Orange County & Cerritos, so PLAN AHEAD. If you do not expect to reach the Riverside Freeway in Anaheim Hills by 2pm, then you will be better off waiting until the afternoon/early evening rush hour is over around 7:30pm. During rush hour, average speeds on this 10 mile stretch (from Imperial Hwy to I-15) are 15 mph at best.

  1. East on Riverside Freeway SR-91
  2. Try to stay in the left 2 lanes if there is heavy traffic upon entering Corona. As you approach the I-15, you will notice the right lanes getting more congested by commuters needing to transfer to I-15.
  3. Exit Adams Ave
  4. Make a left turn onto Adams Ave
  5. Make a left turn on Magnolia
  6. University is on the left side

Route 1: From Diamond Bar, Rowland Heights, San Dimas

  1. from San Dimas (south SR-71 to Corona), from Rowland Heights, Diamond Bar (East SR-60 Pomona Freeway to South SR-71 Chino Hills Freeway)
  2. Take the East SR-91 Connector to Riverside
  3. Try to stay in the left 2 lanes if there is heavy traffic. As you approach the I-15, you will notice the right lanes getting more congested by commuters needing to transfer to I-15.
  4. Exit Adams Ave
  5. Make a left turn onto Adams Ave
  6. Make a left turn on Magnolia
  7. University is on the left side

Route 2: From Diamond Bar, Rowland Heights, San Dimas

  1. From Diamond Bar, Rowland Heights (East SR-60 Pomona Freeway), From San Dimas (South SR-71 to East SR-60 Pomona Freeway)
  2. If possible in heavy traffic, utilize the carpool lane. You will be on the freeway for a while.
  3. After passing the I-15 Freeway, move to the right lane to take the Van Buren/Mission Blvd exit.
  4. Upon exiting the freeway, make a right turn onto Van Buren Blvd.
  5. Continue on Van Buren Blvd until you reach Arlington Ave (5-6 mi later)
  6. Make a left turn onto Arlington Ave
  7. Make a right turn onto Adams Street (about 1 mi later)
  8. Make a right turn on Magnolia (about 1 mi later)
  9. University is on the left side
